The next following weeks

Over the next following weeks, I want to crack down on my design work, so that I know when i am going with the cut sequence then after that I am going to animate my character. The reason I am doing my design work first is because I think it is more important to finish sorting the direction out with my work then doing random stuff and getting lost later down the line.

Trible language

Sorry i haven't posted anything recently, but i have been busy working on my tribes people language. Which i believe i have sorted now. The language contains words for spirits, secred places, elements and common words such as yes, no, come, etc. Some examples:
guarico datiao= come my friends
Bara! Li maboya= kill they big evil
taino-ti= may the good great spirit be with you.

texturing the girl






To texture the girl I used the skin texture in mental ray textures and added my texture to it. I did it this way so that my texture would have skin dynamics on it.

Here is an animation of the leaves in the wind. The leaves are plane done with fur modifier, so I added wind dynamics to the fur modifiers.

head to body




And finally to finish the girl off I attached the head to the body.

I then attached the ear to the head.

To start off with I drew a spline in the shape of a ear, then extruded it and bevel it and final subdivided and modelled it into the ear.

Here I have modelled a head by starting off with a box, then using spherify modifier to make it like a ball then subdivided it whiles modelling it into its shape.
